EFORIE SUD
A spa (18 km south of Constanta) whose beautiful seaside riviera descends in steps towards the beach, which is 2 km long.Former Carmen Sylva resort, it once had the first watering and climatic place in Dobrudja (1892) and in 1930 it was the most important tourist resort of the Romanian seaside.
The average annual temperature is of 11,2oC. The gentle sea and the land breezes are felt here. We also find here a children sanatorium for rheumatology (permanent operation) and another for debility and rickets (operating only in summer). The sea wall (whose 25-35 m offer a splendid panorama), the discos, the open air theatre etc. are attractions of this resort famous for its many flowers.
