Permanent spa on the bank of the lake with the same name (15-20m altitude 18 km of Constanta), in a valley surounded by small hills.
The winters are mild and the summers are warm, dominant being the clear skies (the sun shines for more than 2,400 hours every year).
The main natural cure factors are the salt water and the sapropelic mud of Thechirghiol lake. The spa has five health centers with numerous facilities (for warm baths in tubs or pools with concentrated salt water from the lake, for warm mud baths an painting; for aerosols; hydrotherapy etc.)
