FINE ART MUSEUM

Set up in 1961, The Fine Art Museum in Constanţa holds a collection of Romanian modern and contemporary art made by painters like Theodor Aman and Nicolae Grigorescu up to artists from the 60's of the last century.

The first collections were enriched by the local art works made by sculptor Ion Jalea or painters Alexandru Ciucurencu and Boris Caragea, as well as by works made by artists outside Romania enthralled by the beauty of Dobrudja.
